Principal's Message - Valley View High School

Welcome to the Valley View High School website! I'm delighted that you've chosen to explore our campus online, and I encourage you to explore the various informational links to get to know our school better. At Valley View High School, we are dedicated to creating and nurturing a school environment that emphasizes compassion, responsible citizenship, respect, strong relationships, creativity, innovation, critical thinking, and intellectual excellence. Every day, our students are given the tools and opportunities they need to achieve academic and personal success.

Our diverse curriculum at VVHS includes everything from Honors and Dual Credit college courses to Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes that prepare students for careers in the technical workforce. Our goal is to inspire our students to become capable, caring, and contributing members of the state of Texas and our nation.

Parents play an essential role in their children's educational journey. We strongly encourage you to stay involved in your child's academic progress and assignments. Additionally, we emphasize the importance of parental support in extracurricular activities, such as athletics, One Act Play, band, UIL, and agriculture projects, to name a few. Our aim is for every student participating in an activity to have the support of a parent, guardian, or family member.

In alignment with our district's commitment to the highest standards of education, I will be spending significant time in classrooms to support continuous improvement in teaching and learning. As a result, I may not always be immediately available when you visit or call. However, I value our communication and invite you to schedule a time to meet with me by contacting my secretary. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me at the high school.

I look forward to meeting each of you and personally welcoming you to our campus.

Sincerely,

Justin Crittenden
Principal
