Valley View ISD Bilingual and English as a Second Language Programs
Valley View ISD offers Bilingual and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs to support emergent bilingual students as they develop English language skills and grow academically. Our educators are trained and certified through state-approved programs to provide instruction that supports students’ academic and language development.
Supporting Emergent Bilingual Students and Their Families
Supporting emergent bilingual students is a partnership between our schools and families. Valley View ISD works to provide students with the instruction, services, and support they need at school, while also connecting parents and families with resources they can use at home.
Parents and families can visit the TXEL Parents & Families website for information about bilingual and ESL programs, language development, family engagement, and ways to support their child’s education. Resources are designed specifically for families of emergent bilingual students and are available in multiple languages.
