Each semester, Valley View ISD recognizes outstanding staff members who go above and beyond in their roles. These individuals lead with dedication, compassion, and a commitment to making our district the best it can be.

Joellyn Griffith and Liz DeLuna have been selected as our Eagles Above and Beyond Award recipients this semester. The following recognitions were submitted by community members and fellow staff, highlighting just how impactful these individuals are to Valley View ISD:

Joellyn Griffith – Middle School Teacher
Joellyn consistently goes the extra mile for her students, staying after school for tutoring and creating a positive, supportive classroom environment. Her encouraging attitude shines through in everything she does. She is truly a blessing to Valley View, and we are thankful to have her on our team.

Liz DeLuna – VVISD Administrative Assistant
Liz is a true go-getter whose hard work helps keep the district running smoothly. Always willing to take on new tasks with a positive attitude, she leads by example. After the May tornado, Liz and her family stepped up to help victims in need—even while dealing with their own challenges. She represents the heart of what this award stands for.
