School Hours

Beginning Monday, August 17, Valley View ISD will follow its regular school-day schedule.

Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM–3:45 PM

Friday: 7:45 AM–2:45 PM

Campus Doors Open: 7:15 AM

Free Breakfast & Lunch for All Students

Valley View ISD participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which allows all enrolled students to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost during the 2026–2027 school year, regardless of household income.

Each campus earned its highest score shown since the 2023 baseline.

What is A–F Accountability?

Texas' A–F Accountability System measures how well public schools and districts are serving students. Ratings consider student achievement, academic growth, closing achievement gaps, and, for high schools, graduation and college, career, and military readiness.

Schools and districts receive an overall rating from A–F, giving families a way to see academic performance and progress.

Parent & Student Technology Help

Need help with VVISD technology? Parents and students can contact our Technology Department for assistance with devices, accounts, or other VVISD tech-related issues.

Update on House Bill 1481, prohibiting cell phones, smartwatches, and earbuds on campus during instructional hours.

Phone and Electronic Device Policy

House Bill 1481 requires all public schools — including ILTexas — to prohibit students from using personal communication devices during the school day. If staff see or hear a device, they will take it.
