What is Dual Credit?

Dual Credit is an opportunity for high school students to simultaneously earn college and high school credit.

Valley View High School partners with North Central Texas College (NCTC) in Gainesville.

Eligibility

       1. Must be a high school student. 

       2. College readiness scores must be met on the TSI assessment (or other approved assessment) as mandated by the state of Texas.

       3. Must have a minimum high school GPA of "C" or higher.

4. Students should exhibit maturity for college-level courses.
