   Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation and College for Texans. 


Robertson and Moss Attorneys, LLP are offering a $1000 scholarship to a Valley View senior.  Applications are in the scholarship file in the high school office.  The deadline to submit your application to Mrs. Metzler is April 1st.



The Friends of Valley View Youth Supporters will be awarding one Valley View High School Senior a $500 scholarship. Applicants must have participated in one of the following organizations FFA, FCCLA, or 4H for at least 2 years during their high school career; be a Senior at Valley View High School; plan to enroll in college by the Spring semester after graduation. To apply, download the application information here or pick up a paper copy at the counselor’s office. The deadline to apply is April 2, 2021.



Gene Fuhrman and Foundation for Rural Service Scholarship is available to students that receive at least one of their local services from Nortex Communications: Internet, TV, Landline Phone; are enrolled in an accredited two-year or four-year college or vocational-technical school and have at least a C grade point average. The Gene Fuhrman Award is a one-time $2,000 and $1,500 scholarship. The FRS Award is a one-time $2,500 scholarship. Visit Nortex Communications to apply. The deadline to apply is April 5, 2021.


American Indian Graduate Center provides up to $30,000 in scholarships per student per year and supports Native students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees in the United States. It offers more than 20 scholarship opportunities, plus a comprehensive array of academic and support services for students to utilize throughout their entire academic journey. From completing financial aid applications to creating a study plan to thriving on campus, students can rely on the American Indian Graduate Center as a guide every step of the way.

The NCTC Honors Program is excited to announce a new scholarship opportunity for students who are graduating from high school this May and will be entering NCTC in Fall 2021.


The NCTC Freshman Merit Scholarships provide financial awards ($500 - $1000) to academically talented incoming students.  Students should apply for this competitive scholarship at  When completing the application, students should complete the portion that indicates they are interested in being considered for Honors Program Scholarships.  The deadline to apply is April 15, 2021.  

Scholarship Eligibility:

            Min. 3.0 GPA (high school or dual-credit)

            Participation in the NCTC Honors Program (one honors course per semester)

            Graduating Senior (May 2021) & Entering Freshman (Fall 2021)

The Clothing Closet will be awarding two one-time $500 Scholarships. Applicants must have volunteered in their local community by giving their time and provide two letters of recommendation. The application deadline is April 15th. Clothing Closet Application. pdf icon
