Valley View ISD is proud of its staff and wants everyone to know it! So, VVISD is pleased to announce it is time to recognize the staff and teachers at Valley View Schools.
The “Eagles Above and Beyond Staff Award” is designed to acknowledge those individuals who go above and beyond to help others, whether at school, home, or the community. This award will be given districtwide, once in the fall semester and once in the spring semester. Recipients will receive a plaque at a districtwide staff event at the end of each semester. Each recipient’s name will also be placed on a plaque at the central administration building. VVISD will also submit the recipient’s information to local newspapers.
The criteria for the recipients of the “Eagles Above and Beyond Staff Award” are:
- Must work at VVISD campuses.
- Goes “above and beyond” in one of the following areas:
- Community relations
- Volunteerism
- School work
Anyone (students, staff, parents, community members) may nominate an individual for the award. Nominations should consist of written documentation explaining why that person should be considered for the award. Nominations should include details stating specifically how the staff member has gone “above and beyond.”
A committee will review the nominations in December and May. This committee will select the individual to receive the award.

¡Valley View ISD está orgulloso de su empleados y desea que todos sépanlo! Así, VVISD es complacido para anunciar un nuevo reconocimiento para los empleados y maestras(o) en las escuelas de Valley View.
El “Reconocimiento de Aguilas que sobre pasan sus expectativas” es diseñado para reconocer esos individuos que sobre pasan sus expectativas para ayudar otros, si en la escuela, en casa, o la comunidad. Este reconocimiento será dado en nuestro distrito, una vez en el semestre de otoño y una vez en el semestre de la primavera. Los recipientes recibirán una placa en un acontecimiento de empleados del distrito al fin de cada semestre. El nombre de cada recipiente también será colocado en una placa en el edificio central de la administración. VVISD también se someterá la información del recipiente a periódicos locales.
Los criterios para los recipientes del " Reconocimiento de Aguilas que sobre pasan sus expectativas" son:
- Debe trabajar en campus de VVISD
- Sobre pasan sus expectativas en uno de las áreas siguientes:
- La Comunidad
- Voluntario
- Trabajo de la Escuela
Cualquiera (estudiantes, personal, padres, miembros de la comunidad) puede proponer a un individuo para el reconocimiento. Las nominaciones deben consistir en documentación escrito explicando por qué esa persona debe ser considerada para el reconocimiento. Las nominaciones deben incluir detalles de que indican específicamente cómo el empleado ha ido sobre sus expectativas.
Un comité que revisarán las nominaciones no luego de 1 de diciembre y el 1 de juno. Este comité seleccionará al individuo para recibir el reconocimiento.
