PTO Officer Nominations

This year, the PTO has been busy raising money to buy much needed items, technology, and activities for our students, teachers, and staff. We rely on our wonderful volunteers to make things happen.

Do you or someone you know want to become a PTO officer? If so, please fill out the nomination form below and return it to the front office of either the elementary school or middle school by Tuesday, April 25. If you have any questions, please contact us through Facebook (Valley View PTO) or send us an email at The following positions are up for election:

Vice President—Middle School: Assists the president, performs the duties of the president in the absence or inability of that officer to serve, and acts as liaison to the middle school administration regarding PTO funded programs and/or assemblies.

Treasurer: Has custody of all funds of the PTO; keeps a full and accurate account of all receipts and expenditures; presents a monthly statement of account to all members; and turns over the books immediately upon audit to the new Treasurer with a statement signed that books are in order.

Secretary: Records all minutes of the PTO meetings, keeps all the records of the PTO, keeps an accurate list of names and addresses of officers and the members of the organization, and keeps a copy of the by-laws available at each meeting.

Reporter: Maintains school publicity for all events of the organization, acts as a liaison between the school and the media, and performs other duties as delegated, such as publishing a quarterly newsletter or maintaining a website.

We will be accepting nominations until April 25th.
