About Me

Education

Educational History:

I am a proud graduate of the Valley View High School class of 2000! (Go Eagles!) I began my college career at North Central Texas College. After receiving an Associate’s degree from NCTC, I transferred to the University of North Texas (Go Eagles again!). In 2005, I earned my Bachelor’s of Science Degree from UNT with a major in Health Promotion and minor in Kinesiology.

Degrees and Certifications:

Shortly after graduating from college I realized my desire to work in field of education and I obtained my Texas Educator Certificate. I’m currently certified in Health & PE grades EC-12 and Generalist Grades 4-8

Current Position:

I began my employment with Valley View ISD in 2006 as a HS Special Education aide. The following year I began my teaching career as a HS & MS teacher/coach. After coaching for three years I moved to the administration office where I was the Business Manager/HR Director until January of 2016. I’m excited to be backing teaching, and I enjoy my position as the Elementary PE teacher.  

Family Information:

My husband, Jared Green, and I were married in 2003. We have four beautiful daughters, Ashlyn, Rylan, Jessalyn, and Jacklyn.

Personal Information:

When I am not at work teaching, I enjoy spending time with my precious family!
