All of this for $10 per day – Second child $8 per day

Students must be enrolled for the complete program. We will not take drop-ins.

Meet the Teacher Night/Back to School Event
Pre-Kindergarten – 4th Grade Meet the Teacher will be Monday, August 21st from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. This will be “come and go” any time between 4pm and 6pm on Monday. All students and parents will need to enter through the new south entrance with “Elementary” written above the entrance. Parents and students will meet the teacher, see the classroom and receive a packet of information about classroom/school procedures. Please bring school supplies to the teacher on the 21st if possible. If you need assistance with school supplies, please let the teacher know or contact the office staff. Class lists will be posted at the elementary gym and school website (www.vvisd.net) on Wednesday, August 16th after 12:00 p.m. The lists will also be posted outside each classroom door at the Back to School Event.
Main Entrance/Office Area
All outside doors will remain locked during the school day to ensure safety for the students. One main entrance to the elementary office will be open at all times. The main entrance is the south entrance. Parent parking will be in the new parking lot on the south side of the building. The office is located at the new entrance.
**New School Hours**
School will begin Wednesday, August 23rd at 8:00 a.m. School will dismiss at 3:35 each day. Pre-kindergarten is a half-day program. The morning session is from 8:00-11:00 a.m. and the afternoon session is from 12:25-3:35 p.m.
**New Parent Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures**
**Parent Drop Off**
ALL parent drop-off each morning will be located at the new south entrance in the right lane next to the school. We will let the middle school and high school parents use the outside lane for driving by so they are not stopped by the traffic.
** Pick Up Procedures**
ALL parent pick-ups will be located in the elementary gym parking lot. Parents will remain in cars in line beginning at the elementary gym. Students will be escorted from the elementary gym to parent cars.
Elementary lunches will cost $2.70. Breakfast will cost $1.50. If you have filled out a free/reduced lunch form last school year, you will need to fill out the new form for the 2017-18 school year. Reduced lunch prices will be $.40 for lunch and $.30 for breakfast.
