Dual Credit Information

What is Dual Credit?

Dual Credit allows high school students to earn college and high school credit simultaneously.

Valley View High School partners with North Central Texas College (NCTC) in Gainesville.

Eligibility

       1. Must be a high school student. 

       2. College readiness scores must be met on the TSI assessment (or other approved assessment) as mandated by the state of Texas.

       3. Must have a minimum high school GPA of "C" or higher.

  1. Students should exhibit maturity for college-level courses.
