This November, the Student Council is dedicating the Month of Giving to our amazing high school nurse, Nurse Thacker! Nurse Thacker goes above and beyond for our Eagles—often using her own money to provide food and supplies for students in need. Now it’s our turn to give back! Help us restock her office and show our appreciation by donating items from the Amazon Wish List linked below. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference and helps keep our students healthy and cared for all year long.

The Valley View High School Student Council is hosting a Canned Food Drive Challenge from November 4–21, and everyone’s invited! Each grade (9th–12th) will go head-to-head to see who can collect the most canned goods before Thanksgiving. It’s all about giving back—and, let’s be honest, earning those bragging rights! The winning class will be announced on December 1 and will take home a sweet prize! Here’s how to donate: High school students – Bring cans to the lunchroom each day and place them in the box labeled for your class. Cans will be counted after B lunch daily to track which class is in the lead! Elementary and middle school families – You're invited to join in too! Want to see your favorite class win? Help them out by bringing in a canned good! Donations can be dropped off in the high school lunchroom, placed in any of the boxes for 9th through 12th grade, or left at any campus office.
