The Human Resources Department is open from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. each weekday throughout the year, except for holidays and winter breaks. Please check our web-site during the summer for our summer schedule.

Applying for a Position in Valley View ISD

All individuals wishing to be considered for Valley View ISD employment must complete an application online or print and return an application to the Administration Office located at 106 Newton St. Valley View, TX 76272. Any additional documents that you wish to share with hiring personnel must be attached to your application to be considered for a position with VVISD.

 

Applicants must have:

  • Completed an application online or print
  • Copy of a current Teaching Certificate or provide documentation that a Certificate is in process. The applicant must obtain endorsement from the college or university attended, including student teaching or satisfactory completion of an Educator Preparation Program (if applying for a position that requires a teaching certificate).
  • References (at least three professional references)
  • Resume
  • All out-of-state-certified applicants must obtain a current Texas Teaching Certificate before being considered for employment in a position that requires a teaching certificate.

 

 

Administrator Positions

Includes principal, assistant principal, director, program/department administrator, coordinator, and other related positions.

 

Professional/Certified Positions

Includes teacher, counselor, librarian, nurse, and other campus and district-level professionals.

 

Non-Certified Positions

Includes campus-based support paraprofessionals, instructional paraprofessionals, central office support paraprofessionals, and other such related positions.

 

Maintenance/Operations Positions

Includes maintenance, custodial, child nutrition worker, transportation, and other auxiliary positions.
