Valley View ISD Mission Statement
The District is committed to providing effective instruction to develop the potential of all our students using the latest techniques of teaching and contemporary technology. Our intention is that all students who graduate from our District will acquire a foundation for a productive life and will have the skills necessary for success in higher education and/or the workplace. We expect students to develop a sense of self-worth and confidence that will allow them to cope with their ever-changing world environment.
At every level, students are successful in UIL academics, Co-curricular, and athletic competitions as well as TAKS results. The school offers a small school environment where students and teachers are partners in the learning process. With a pupil/teacher ratio of 15 to 1, students are given the individual attention needed for them to excel. Standards are high and the school has a reputation for expecting much from students who expect much. Choosing the right community and school is one of the most important decisions you will make for your family. V.V.I.S.D. encourages parents to consider the city of Valley View and the school District when making a community and school choice.
