I grew up in Dalhart, Texas and graduated from Dalhart High School.
I received my bachelors from West Texas A & M in Canyon, Texas.
I received my Masters of Educational Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

This will be my 1st year at Valley View ISD! I will be teaching Algebra II and Fundamentals of College Algebra(FOCA). I am looking forward to meeting all the students and parents, this will be a GREAT year.
I started my teaching career in Dalhart at XIT Secondary School, this was an alternative campus. I was in charge of the DAEP and taught math to students needing to catch up on their credits. I also taught 7th grade math at Dalhart Jr. High. I was the AP at Dalhart Elementary School and then moved up to being the Principal. My last position was teaching Geometry at Dalhart High School.
I haved been married to my wonderful wife Melissa for 27 years. We have 2 grown children, J.T. lives in Grapevine and Ashlyn lives in Amarillo. I have a German Shepherd named “Dime”, he is 18 months old and is my “new” son. We moved to the area to be closer to family, My son is in Grapevine my wifes brother lives in Argyle and her parents will be moving to Denton.
I have been playing guitar for almost 40 years. I played with the worship band in my last church and looking forward to finding a new church and joining their worship team. I also like walking, training, and playing with my dog. I love live music, going and watching bands play is one of my favorite activities.
