Homecoming Week September 18-23

Congratulations to the 2023 Homecoming Court Nominees: Reagan Brinkley, Cierra Kemp, Molly Moss, Katie Eaton, Parker Davis, Tyler Isbell, Canon Terry, and Jesus Acuna. The King and Queen will be crowned during the Homecoming celebration before the home game on Friday, September 22. 

In addition to the Homecoming celebration, the Valley View Alumni Association Meet and Greet is Friday, September 22, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. During the event, the Alumni Association will announce the 2023 scholarship recipients and the 2023 recipients of the Distinguished Educator Award.

On September 23, there will be a Homecoming Dance for 9th-12th grades from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Any high school student planning on bringing a date from another school must pick up a permission slip from the office. The Student Council sponsors the dance.

This year, the theme for Homecoming Week is “Lights, Camera, Action!”

Monday - Spirit Day: Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler Day)

Tuesday - Spirit Day: Harry Potter (Wear class colors.)

Wednesday - Spirit Day: Dodgeball (Sporty Gear)

Thursday - Spirit Day: Austin Powers (Hippie Day)

Friday - Spirit Day: Friday Night Lights (School Colors, Mums, and Garters)
