VVISD Computer Labs

Valley View High School

The High School has 2 classroom computer labs each consisting of 20 workstations along with 1 open computer lab for general use consiting of 24 workstations. The open computer lab can be reserved for a whole class to come in with their teacher to work on projects, research papers, etc. When the lab is not in use, students can work on the computers. There is also a mobile lab which consists of 20 laptops and a laserjet printer. The laptops use wireless technology to access network resources and the internet. This can also be reserved for classroom use.All computers have as a minimum Microsoft Office and internet access. Software utilized by the high school consists of:

Valley View Middle School

The Middle School has 1 classroom computer lab consisting of 22 workstations along with 1 open computer lab for general use consiting of 24 workstations. The open computer lab can be reserved for a whole class to come in with their teacher to work on projects, research papers, etc. When the lab is not in use, students can work on the computers. Valley View Elementary

The Elementary has 1 classroom computer lab which serves grades K-5. Each computer has Microsoft Office and internet access. The elementary lab utilizes an InFocus video projector so students can visuaize and interact rather than reading or listening to instructions, students are able to watch the teacher and follow along. There is also a mobile lab which consists of 20 laptops and a laserjet printer. The laptops use wireless technology to access network resources and the internet. This can also be reserved for classroom use.
