NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON AUGUST 20, 2007, AT 6:45 PM, THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VALLEY VIEW INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE BUDGET AND TAX RATE. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON BUDGET AND TAX RATE AND REGULAR BOARD MEETING OF THE

VALLEY VIEW INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Notice is hereby given that on the 20^th day of August, 2007, at 6:45PM, the Board of Trustees of the Valley View Independent School District will hold a Public Hearing on the Budget and Tax Rate at the Bert Glascock Memorial Library, 700 Frontage Rd., Valley View, Texas. The Regular Board Meeting will immediately follow. The subjects to be discussed are listed on the agenda which is attached to and made a part of this Notice.

If, during the course of the meeting covered by this Notice, the Board of Trustees should determine that a closed or executive meeting or session of the Board of Trustees is required, then such closed or executive meeting or session as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq., will be held by the School Board at the date, hour, and place given in this Notice or as soon after the commencement of the meeting covered by this Notice as the School Board may conveniently meet in such closed or executive meeting or session concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act, including, but not limited to the following sections and purposes:
